Advertising API: SoV Report
The Share of Voice (SOV) report gives advertisers insights into their share of total Sponsored Products impressions and clicks for their brands and categories. It enables comparisons within specific chunks, page types, channels, and countries, showing how a brand’s share stacks up against competitors in each segment.
For example, if Chunk X receives 100,000 impressions in January and Advertiser Y generates 10,000 impressions for their brand(s), their impression share is 10%, while the remaining 90% belongs to other advertisers. These insights help advertisers evaluate whether increasing ad investment could boost their brand’s presence within a segment.
The report also provides granular breakdowns—such as the impression share in the "Babyverzorging" category on search pages via desktop for the selected brands—helping advertisers optimize their budgets by focusing on specific categories, page types, or devices.
Note: The SOV report only includes data for brands and categories that an advertiser is actively promoting with Sponsored Products. It does not provide insights into unadvertised brands and categories.
