Change in product visits and conversion data

Due to a new way of measuring product visits, there will be a change in your product visits and conversion data as of May 27.

We will soon measure product visits in a different way. The new way is more precise because we recognize and filter out bot traffic better. We can therefore better identify whether a visitor to bol is a human or an automatic bot. This makes the data more reliable. Due to the new method, your product visits may be slightly higher or lower than you are used to, which also affects your conversion.

As of May 27, the change will be implemented in:

  • The Get offer insights endpoint of the Retailer API
  • The ‘Verkoopanalyse’ tab in the seller dashboard

Historical data will also be adjusted. From May 27, historical data can be requested up to 01-01-2023. We are currently examining whether historical data can be made available up to two years ago. As soon as more is known, we will post an update on this page.
