Incident: Incorrect error message when creating shipments

We are currently experiencing an issue when creating shipments through the API. When processing an order, you may receive the following error:

Request contains unknown order item id(s): [xxxxxxx]. Possible reasons: order item(s) do not exist or order item(s) cannot be fulfilled by the retailer (only FBR items can be fulfilled).

This error message is incorrect. Despite the response, the shipment is actually processed successfully. Our team is investigating the root cause of this issue. We will provide an update as soon as more information is available.

The Get shipment, Get order endpoints and the seller account return the correct and up-to-date status. We recommend using these endpoints to verify the current status of your orders.

Update 12:00

The issue is seems fixed for most merchants, and the impact is minor. Only a few merchants are affected. We are looking at the root cause for these merchants.
