Manufacturer data and responsible economic operator mandatory soon

Starting March 5, any new assortment that falls under the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) will only appear online if you’ve filled in the manufacturer information and responsible economic operator. This applies to most items sold through bol. The requirement for manufacturer information takes effect on March 5, and the requirement for the economic operator on April 1.

In addition, starting April 1, bol will gradually remove products if the manufacturer information is missing. We’ll notify you by email as soon as we begin enforcing this on your existing assortment.
