Update to Product List endpoint to reflect actual positions

From mid-February, the Get product list endpoint will be updated to match product positions shown on bol. The exact date will be announced soon.

What’s Changing?

Currently, when a product belongs to a product family, the API response includes both the parent product and all its variants. This can cause discrepancies between the API output and the ordering shown to customers on the webshop.

Because the API returns all variants, even when they are rolled up on the webshop, subsequent products may appear shifted in position. This can lead to incorrect interpretation and decision-making based on product ranking.

New Behavior

To address this, only parent products will be included in the response. This ensures that the positions in the API output match the actual positions shown on the bol webshop.
