There have been problems with the bulk commission endpoint for the last few weeks. If an underlying service does not respond in time, we now pass on the (incorrect) standard commission of 1 euro + 15% via the API, instead of an error message. As a result, when requesting the commission of an EAN, you may sometimes get different values back (one time the correct commission and the other time the incorrect standard commission).
We are working hard to optimize the performance of the underlying service. We will also ensure that soon an error message is returned when the underlying service does not respond in time, instead of the standard commission.
This message will be updated as soon as the issues are resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If an underlying service does not respond in time, we now return a 500 error (Internal server error), instead of the standard commission of 1 euro + 15%. In addition, we are still working on improving the performance of the endpoint, to prevent 500 errors from being returned often.
The issues with the bulk commission endpoint have been resolved. As mentioned in the October 1 update, we now always return the correct commission again. Also, the performance of the endpoint has structurally improved. The endpoint is now stable again; in the past few days (almost) zero 500 errors have been returned.
